That is, until I attended my first group fitness class! It was a turning point for me, and now I can’t help but sing the praises of group workouts. Remember those cringe-worthy fitness DVDs with the overly enthusiastic instructor and that trickling synth-pop in the background? Well, group fitness is nothing like that. Most classes will have booming tracks that take you right to the club (while you’re shedding calories), and it was this soundtrack that roped me in.
