- Plan Your Meals: Believe it or not, one solution that helped me ameliorate my food choices was planning my meals in advance. There are countless mobile apps out there to help with meal planning and it truly does take the stress out of deciding ‘what’s for dinner’?
- Eat a Rainbow: No, I don’t mean skittles! I’m talking about fruits and veggies. Each color carries its own set of unique disease-fighting chemicals called phytochemicals. For example, oranges are high in beta-carotene, which helps maintain our vision and immune system (Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health).
- Stay Hydrated: I found that whenever I was dehydrated, I would mistake thirst for hunger – a common mistake. Always make sure you’re drinking enough water throughout the day.
